An introduction to duplicate bridge for social bridge players.
Every week we offer a gentle, friendly game for social bridge players to learn the ins and outs of duplicate.
With volunteers on hand to help, we guide players through all the particularities of duplicate: bidding boxes, pre-dealt hands, alertable bids, scoring, and most of all the approach to competitive bridge where you’re playing against the room. It’s fun and encouraging.
And yes, talking is allowed! Just not about your hand when you’re bidding 🙂
If you’re curious or interested, please call Jill (250-686-4747) or just turn up any Wednesday, alone or with a partner. (No game on October 30.)
